RE/MAX agents continue to live up to their motto "Outstanding Agents, Outstanding Results" in support of Feeding Empty Little Tummies (F.E.L.T.), a program to help homeless children. RE/MAX Alliance Group Associates Barry & Sherry Grooms chaired a successful Charity Golf Tournament held at the Ritz Carlton Golf Club October 13.
"Homeless kids deserve to eat too." said Barry Grooms. "With the generosity of our players and sponsors we were able to meet our goal and help continue the important work of this organization."
"Feeding Empty Little Tummies (FELT) is Manatee County’s original backpack program to feed homeless children on weekends, when they are not in school and often go hungry. It was founded by the late Jane Evers in 2010 and is supported solely by volunteers. Volunteers are the heart of this operation and graciously give their time and resources without compensation or reimbursement. All proceeds go directly to providing homeless children nutritious food. It’s important to give back to the community and make a difference where we work & live." said Sherry Grooms. "This event was the perfect way to help support Manatee County and raise awareness for Homeless Children."
